    Video card for three Monitors

I have two 22" and one 27" Monitors,I want to run them on one card.
This is for a Cheap Backup computer so I want to try and keep it under $100 AUD.
Am aware that I may be asking the Impossible but you never know.
Looking at Ebay for used ones also.

May I suggest a search for a card with 3 ports, VGA, HDMI, DVI? Of course the monitors must support at least one of those inputs.

For what its worth, I'm running three monitors on my GT 640. DVI - DVI - HDMI on the Video card, DVI - DVI - DVI on the monitor end. More info in My System Specs.

This computer was made from parts that i had from other builds.
It has a Gtx550ti with three connections dvi-vga-hdmi it will not run three at a time.
Not sure but I think that the hdmi will not run if the dvi is connected.

Yeah, it all depends on how many independent sources are on the card. Some manufacturers will add extra connectors for convenience that are fed from the same video source. It saves you from having to use an adapter. I wasn't sure mine would actually run 3 monitors until I tried it. The manual didn't say much at all except multiple monitor support. That could have meant 2 monitors or 3 monitors. I actually wasn't expecting it to run 3 but was pleasantly surprised that it did. I do believe my card was made by Zotac.

Kodi, here is Amazon search results here in the States: 3 Monitor Video Card: Amazon.com

Newegg results: 3 monitor video card - Newegg.com

Is hard to tell if a card actually supports three monitors simultaneously.

Kodi, you could run one of the monitors off of your onboard graphics. That is based on your specs, if this is another computer then ignore this.

Yes this is another computer, and i just found out that is PCI-E version 1.1 so compatibility come into the picture.
Might just forget the whole thing and run two monitors

PCIe 2.0 cards will run in a PCIe 1.1 spec motherboard. I'm doing it now on my backup PC. You'll lose some performance but likely never notice it in normal use. Gaming would be where you might notice it. The card will just run at the slower bus speed.

That only works if the motherboard supports hybrid crossfire or something similar. On my two ASUS motherboards the onboard is disabled as soon as an add-in card is detected. It's one or the other but not both.
