My Audio and chipset drivers are up to date. My LAN and USB drivers are stock. I have not updated my bios.

Well it is a hardware issue: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...or=-2147217396

Maybe something isn't getting the correct power from the PSU or possibly you simply have a lemon component. No other video cards, RAM, etc, you can try?

I tried to switch out the power cables to see if maybe one of them was bad. At first it seemed to work. I managed to play jazzpunk for 30+ minutes and there was no crash. Unfortunately there was crackling from the audio (hdmi out). A quick google suggested it could be crosstalk between the motherboard and gpu audio. I disabled the motherboard hd audio driver and restarted. The crackling was gone but a minute into jazzpunk and the same old crash happened. I re-enabled the hd audio driver and restarted. The crackling was gone still but the crash happened again. Could the root cause of the crackling also mysteriously be solving my crashing?

Try testing your HDD with HD Tune. Please attach screenshots of the Health tab and of a completed Error Scan (not Quick).

Do you have a spare GPU to test with? I've seen numerous issues caused by 290.

The crashes happen most often when I'm watching a YouTube video but they have also occurred a few times when just watching an MP4 or MKV with Zoom Player. Recently it's been mostly 0x124 but there are instances of 0xA0000001 in there also, as you can see. The computer was built from all new...
Famous Atikmdag.sys BSOD. Bugcheck code: 0x50 in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I've had this BSOD before, but then got the computer magically back to working order. I also did a thread on that one and have tried to use the fix that I provided for other people on that forum. The BSOD I have now is 100% identical to the last one I had (the one I wrote about at the other forum)....
I got a new custom built gaming PC about a 3 months ago. I was installing Windows 7 when it froze, but I restarted the computer and it worked fine. So ever since then, I have just lived with it pretty much. But about a month ago I took out 1 of the RAM sticks, because my friend suggested that I...
Hello all, about two months ago I built my PC and everything was great and no problems whatsoever until about a month ago. In short, my PC freezes when I'm just browing the web. It doesn't happen when I'm decoding a video, or when I'm playing a game, or running an emulator. It always happens...
Hi there, Even since I build this new computer last year in September I am plagued by irregular bluescreens, but was able to solve them, as I though, by replacing the RAM after memtest86 deemed 2 sticks faulty (I bought the RAM 2nd-hand, how stupid of me) So here I was with brand new RAM,...
