Solved 720 TV with gtx 970
Quick question. I am building a computer soon. At the moment I don't have the budget for a monitor. Will using my Samsung 32" 720p HD tv for my monitor cause a problem while using a gtx 970 card?

Should work just fine using HDMI port on the gtx 970. Depending on the quality of the TV it may not have the response of a monitor is all.

Thank you Popeye. I really appreciate the response. The TV is a good quality one. So I'm thinking the same as you, but would also love others, who may have done the same, to respond. At least your response sets my mind at ease.

Most welcome! I use HDMI to my TV all the time although I have a laptop. Works and looks great for movies and such but never have tried it for gaming.

Some TVs have a "Game mode" switching, HW or SW settings. Turning on that mode would give you better and smoother picture without ghosting or tearing while gaming. Might be better for ordinary work on computer also.
