    how are you installing the driver? by running the setup.exe file? or through device manager?

    For the Acer one, via the Device Manager --> Update Driver --> Browse option.
    For the Intel one, I just launched the .exe file.

    have you tried using the shut down command? that shuts them off..

    just check my dell with intel - my intel control panel has display power savings on

    control panel > power options > change plan settings > change advanced power settings >

    Ok, fine, yours does not dim. I'm saying that mine does. Which is something that I don't want. Which is the issue here.

    That's my Power Options for the High Performance profile (which is the only one I use).

    This is what it keeps reverting to everytime I unplug the laptop:

    When I Disable it, I can literally see the brightness increase once more.
