Solved Monitors display horizontal scan lines

So after continuous incidents I decided to see if someone can help me here. I have a MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC video card and I connect 2 monitors to it. The primary monitor is connected using a DisplayPort and the secondary is connected using HDMI. The scan line issue only happens on the DisplayPort monitor. I've attached a sample image, the scan lines are worse that what it looks on the image, the scan lines would be racing all over the screen. To fix the issue I would have to turn the monitor off then back on so it goes back to normal.

Another issue that normally happens is that when the computer goes to standby and I move the mouse or press down a key the monitor won't show the desktop, instead it will show "no signal" and will do somewhat light up as though it found a signal then display "no signal" again. There is also another incident that when my PC goes into deep sleep, for those times I am away from the computer long, it goes into deep sleep but then automatically wakes up. And at times when it does go into hibernation, because of not being used for too long, it won't wake up after clicking the mouse or keyboard. It won't resume even if I hit the power button. To make it resume I would have to flip the power switch on the PSU off and the back on, then press the power button just so it can wake up.

I am not sure if anyone has had a similar issue but any help would be grateful. I did read on the updated NVIDIA drivers page that the beta driver solves somewhat of a similar issue, but I am not sure if mine is the same. It lists the hotfixes as:
  • GeForce GTX 980 displays texture shimmering when Texture Filtering Quality set to High Quality.
  • GPU outputs fuzzy lines over DisplayPort after a period of time following driver updates.
  • System hang up and black screen after power on with some monitors (DP1.2 & 4K/60Hz) + GTX980

If someone can confirm that it might fix my issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Hotfix Update

It appears the hotfix has solved the issue for now. If at some point the issue returns I'll be sure to report to this thread, but for now I shall be marking this thread solved.
