Graphics card keeps on crashing for unknown reason

Hi, If you look at my system specs, you will see I have an awesome graphics card. But sometimes my AMD driver gives me a notification saying:
I don't know why this is happening and it's really annoying because whenever it happens, the program I'm using crashes

Does it do this on a particular program?

I notice it too with my Intel HD Graphics card. Mostly when I comeback from putting it to sleep. You just gotta make sure graphics card is up to date. If you upgraded from windows 7 you gotta find the driver that's for Windows 8. If not I just been dealing with it. But it's mostly due to incorrect drivers or imcompatiblitly with Windows 8.1. Also be sure to visit the manufacturer website and see what they have for the latest driver.

I don't get it. I bought the laptop with windows 8.1 preinstalled and it no popeye, it doesn't happen on a particular program. It just happens a tiny bit more often on minecraft

Well, my go to first recommendation is uninstall drivers with DDU then reboot and re-install. Seems I've read some things about Minecraft and graphics issues. Could be my imagination though.

Anything on their site? No overheating issues?

No overheating issues and I don't know if I'll be able to uninstall something like that.

Not sure what you mean. The DDU uninstaller does it for you.

Will it install itself once my laptop reboots?

Yes, but you should download the latest drivers from the Dell site and install those. I always keep the latest compressed graphics drivers in a folder or on external flash drive. I'm able to use latest drivers from Nvidia on my machine as Acer isn't picky like Dell. No idea if the drivers from AMD site will work. You should get the drivers from the Dell site.
