Great i just notes a stripped screw had ??

So this is just great i just notes when i went to clean my computer out i removed the video card to dust it out, and when i went to screw back in i notes one of the screws would not tighten up, i don't no what effect it will have if any and how can i fix it, the guy who put it together must have stripped it by mistake. So any suggestions or is it ok, i don't think it will back out and i can't push it out with my finger, just wont tighten up here is pictures.

The top screw does not go threw any part of the video card so not sure what if it is doing anything.

If it is working fine and doesn't fall out I wouldn't worry too much. You could get a slightly larger screw and install it.

You can also purchase a product called Loctite or similar: Welcome to the World of Loctite | Select your country

That's not really the intended use for Loctite, it's supposed to keep a properly torqued fastener from loosening, not make up for an improperly torqued fastener. It also requires an air tight connection between the two surfaces to cure. I would try a slightly larger screw instead.

If you do use Loctite, be careful which type you use. If you use Red Loctite, it will require heat to be applied in order to remove the screw so make sure you use Blue Loctite.

Yes, a slightly larger screw would be best and less cost. The Loctite would at least prevent the screw from vibrating out. Even some hot glue would work. We're not talking about holding up the world here.

I found a slightly larger case screw that worked although the head touches part of the video card cage but it works and went nice and snug.

A good wad of chewed bubblegum would work as well!
