I think all you are seeing are the connections on your monitor. One is VGA and one is DVI. Just buy an adapter to convert to whatever you have on your video card. If you have two DIV outputs and cables, just buy a VGA to DVI converter.
Like this one. Just make sure you buy the one that matches up your male to female or visa-versa.

Actually, without knowing which monitors and GPU are exactly, there's no way of knowing for sure. If there were no adapters or converters at this setup than they are digital for sure.

Don't you just hate such half descriptions that don't actually describe anything ?Actually, without knowing which monitors and GPU are exactly, there's no way of knowing for sure. If there were no adapters or converters at this setup than they are digital for sure.
Thanks why I said 'I think'. But even my oldest LCD monitor has two inputs, one with the old connection and one with a digital. Since the 9800 GT has 2 digitals I've used just a simple adapter to connect on of the outputs to the old ACER monitor. It has 1 x VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) connections.
But like you guys say, we'll never know unless he gives us his specs.
