FN keys on laptop respond but dont change brightness

So recently I turned on my computer (Acer Aspire V5 122-P) and went to change the brightness. And using the FN keys and changing the brightness returns the same value rather than chaning it. The other FN keys such as Volume +/- and turning adaptars on and off still work. It is just the brightness keys. I would like a fix as I need long battery life and this is causing exsessive battery drain. (I would also prefer not to do anything too dangerous as I use it everyday for College as the unit is still in Warenty) Looking around the internet I am thinking it is a Graphics issue but move this if its in the wrong thread.
    This is so frustating
(I have tryied turning it off and on again to no avail)

Have you looked in Control Panel, Power Options for the different settings when using battery or plugged in? Battery settings usually will dim the display and may throttle down the CPU speed to conserve the charge.

    Hi windowz,
If you have W8.1 VGA driver, switch to W8 driver or vice versa, get the drivers from here:Acer | Download
