Connected TV to PC, screen flashes annoyingly...

I recently purchased a TV for my PC setup (Now 2 monitors side by side + TV above) and have set the TV to mirror monitor #1. Both monitors connected via DVI, TV by HDMI. All into graphics card (if that information is relevant)

Whenever I turn on the TV all of the screens go black for about a second as if it's changing the resolution of everything. This happens again when I turn the TV off. That's only a minor annoyance, but it will do it a few more times after turning the TV off like a minute later or more which is very jarring to say the least.

Upon watching the screen resolution window I captured what exactly is happening (Images below)
TV screwing up resolution - Imgur

It appears as if the TV is being detected and disappearing. I guess this makes sense for the TV to disappear when turned off, but it appears and disappears multiple times after the fact. Also my second monitor goes from being display 2, to being display 3 when the TV is connected. I guess that's the way it's plugged into the graphics card, but that's just the way it has to be (concerning connections) and I don't think that really affects anything. Btw I tried plugging the TV into the motherboard ports, but that wouldn't allow me to use it as a mirror.

So, any ideas on how to stop it from acting this way?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

This might help a bit, hopefully you understand my messy "screenshot response":

You can Drag & Drop the display symbols as you wish in Screen Resolution tool, place the displays as you wish. Read more at our sister forums:

Thanks for the response, but my issue is not with the position/borders of my multi-monitor/TV setup, rather the fact that the TV as a display seems to appear and disappear multiple times after turning the TV off physically. This results in the other displays blacking out for a brief second.

This is what seems to happen after multiple tests:
    (1) Turn TV on - TV is detected, screens black out. I guess to redraw the screens. I'm not sure the technical side, just an educated guess.
    (2) Turn TV off - TV disappears from displays. Again, screens black out.
    (3) About a minute after the TV is turned off - TV reappears. Another blackout.
    (4) Another minute or so passes - TV is then removed for a final time. Blackout.

Of course I expect (1) & (2) to happen. That makes sense to me and doesn't bother me. (3) & (4) are what I have a problem with, doesn't make any sense, and is making my eyes bleed.

I tested that myself an hour ago and I can just say that if the two display set is not aligned as three display set, the screen flickers disturbingly every time the third display is connected or disconnected because Windows has to change the relative position of the displays, which for instance determines where the pointer can move over to next display.

I have the alignment fixed so that my smaller monitor is in position -1440, 180 in both cases. The flicker is still present exactly the same as before. Granted, it's still going between being display #2 when the TV is off, and display #3 when the TV is on. I'm not sure if that's a problem or how to change that.

On closer look, when the TV is on, it's forcing that to be Display #1, thus shifting my primary monitor to #2 and finally my secondary monitor to #3. If I plug the TV into the motherboard HDMI port, the TV will register as display #3, but then I cannot mirror my primary display. Also, the flickering still happens when I do that.
