Eew, that is not good. Could be graphics overheating. Do you clean your fan and heat pipe fins regularly with a can of air? Is the fan running/turning?

I do believe I agree with popeye diagnosis. That isn't normal behavior and either there is something defective with the graphics hardware or it is overheating. It COULD be the software I suppose but it's fairly rare of a long shot. Below you will see the link for the graphics driver.

open up the laptop you should see a fan over/or near the cpu ( I assume this is an integrated processor/gpu )

Don't really need to open it up in most cases to see if fan is running. There should be openings over the fan on the bottom of the laptop. If you turn the laptop on its side carefully while on, you should be able to see the fan turning, especially with a small flashlight.

Should also be able to see if it is clogged with hair/dirt. There is Speccy and SpeedFan to see what your temp is. You can watch and see if it rises the longer the laptop is on until the screen goes pixelated.
