Hey guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with my card, it seems Windows 8 randomly "loses" the drivers... Here's an example.

I'm playing Team Fortress 2, 200+ FPS, everything is awesome. I quit for a bit, come back, launch TF2, and suddenly I get 10FPS, suddenly WebGL or OpenGL applications no longer run, and everything is going quite a bit slower, I look at my AMD VISION and its showing my GPU clock at 100Mhz, I try overclocking, nothing happens.

And here's the weird part, some applications don't even recognized I have a graphics card, as seen here http://puu.sh/kLAu.png

This is what AMD VISION shows:
Driver Packaging Version: 8.93-111205a-132421E-ATI
2D Driver Version: 8.01.01.1223
Direct3D Version: 7.14.10.0885 ( shouldn't this be 11? )
OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.11399
AMD VISION Version: 2012.0216.2321.41809

Hi,

The first thing I would do is completely uninstall any and all overclocking utilities then reboot. Should alleviate issues here.

Overclocking graphics is over-rated to me anyhow. If a game plays at, for example, 47 fps average....making it play at 52 is not going to be noticeable in any way besides the little numbers on the screen saying it, from the oc app.

Now I know you don't want to listen to me lol. So that's why you can install ATI Tray Tools after by Ray Adams. The latest beta is extremely stable and this software is excellent in all ways.

I've tried uninstalling /everything/ and reinstalling, still randomly breaks, as for the overclock, I agree, but the sole purpose of it was to try to increase the clock, or make it go back to normal, (GPU normal is like ~700Mhz but when it breaks its stuck at ~100Mhz).
