I wonder about them sometimes. They will go a month or two with just beta releases then suddenly WHQL releases one after the other. Maybe keeping the natives quiet while they tinker.

Yeah, hard to say see anymore improvements over the last one not even a month ago. As said last one showed improvements in graphics with some games. Do like NVIDIA over AMD. One part of the installation that i used once, but now avoid it is The GeForce Experience. Runs all the time, not all games are supported and makes a UserAccount, but few games i would like it for since not too good at adjusting games graphics settings to my system.

I dumped Experience awhile back also. Boarders on bloatware/malware IMO. I lean towards Nvidia a bit over AMD myself although they each have their pluses and negatives. One thing for sure hybrid Intel+AMD laptops can be a real pain in the butt.

The one time I actually installed the Gforce Experience it wouldn't work for me. I can't remember what the issue was now but at the time it was more trouble than it was worth. I haven't bothered to install it again since. I just uncheck it along with the 3D vision stuff during the install..

Is the GeForce Experience that is creating the User Profile automatically? Only way to remove it is to uninstall nvidia?

I've a user account in my system named UpdatusUser, is this the one?

Edit: got to read through this now: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answe...er%E2%80%99%3F

Seems like since Optimus technology enabled chips have to live with it.

Yep, that's the virtual account it creates to make Experience work. Mine has Optimus but I have Experience removed, it should have nothing to do with Optimus.

What they are talking about I believe is how Optimus will update settings for games if you have Experience enabled, which I don't care about anyway. I prefer to do my own settings.

Okay popeye , Is removing Experience done from Programs & Features itself - the way it is written in the link?

Just what does WHQL certified mean? I installed 344.48 and had to roll back to 344.11 because when the display was turned off by the system and then on again the desktop would be fuzzy. I installed 344.60 and again had to roll back to 344.11. I have an ASUS GTX 660Ti video card and it has never had a problem like this before these last two drivers. I have informed Nvidia and hope their next driver fixes this problem.
