Solved Display space different with the same resolution set

That's something that has been bothering me for a long time and finally I've decide to look for some comments on that from fellow Windows users...

Here's the thing: I'm using two displays with my laptop - it's own built-in display and the external monitor. The native resolution of both devices is 1920x1080 pixels, so my belief is that they should display exactly the same contents. But that's not true - see the attached pictures: they present the same webpage displayed on the external monitor (1) and the built-in display (2). As you see the built-in display "cuts off" a considerable amount of page and the visible space is smaller than on an external screen.

But why? The resolution is exactly the same, so I believe what both screens display should also match. Can anyone tell me why it's not true?

OK for those having similar riddle - here's the solution, simplest of all...

The thing was that for laptop the setting in Control Panel => Display (Change size of all items) was different than for the external display. For laptop the slider was in the middle and for external display it was set at the minimum (Smaller). After making them in the same position the screens are the same.
