Should i try it considering my motherboard 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (blue)
    1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black)
    Yes it should work.

okay so i got home and tried a couple more suggestions with the gtx 670 and nothing worked, i moved it to the other slot and it still didn't work.

After a couple of hours i removed the GTX 670 and installed my ASUS 5770 and it installed perfectly and easy!!!

I"m currently using my Desktop pc and it has no issues what so ever so i can say with 100% certainty that is is a problem with Nvidia's Drivers. (which is very disappointing as now i am limited to the 5770 until a fix get's released)

Or your GTX-670 might be defective. Do you have another PC to test on ?

good point. Hm... i hope not. but taking a look at this thread(pinned on the Nvidia site) It's a known issue.

Hi, I have another thought why your card is not working properly. Your motherboard is intended to work only with AMD parts - CPU, chipset and a Graphic card. It is intended to support Quad-GPU CrossFireX Support which is an AMD feature. Maybe that's why your card cannot be recognized properly. This is just my opinion! I suggest you to look at your MOBO site and see the information there.

My guess is your card is defective since it is one isolated case. I was reading the reviews from Amazon, they all have high praise about it except couple questioning about the reliability. If I were you, I would attempt to get an RMA.

    Good luck !!!

The motherboard will support nVidia GPUs. It's exclusive to AMD Bulldozer CPUs (all motherboards will only take Intel or AMD CPUs, never both) but all motherboards will take either AMD or nVidia GPUs. The CrossFire support simply means you can run up to four AMD GPUs in the motherboard, but only one nVidia card as it doesn't have SLi support.
