Laptop has become slower

Hi everyone.
When i first bought my laptop i was able to run League of legends max settings with 60 fps stable,but somehow after a couple of months i started to notice that my fps are getting lower and lower,so i tought maybe the game has become more demanding so i tried Cod but the same thing happens.
What i did,i reinstalled my system,updated all my drivers,cleaned up the fan and the cpu from dust,but the thing that seems to be confusing to me is that i feel that my pc isn't running as fast as it can,because when i bought it,when i played anygame my fan would be a bit loud but now it's like im just browsing the net,i think that i somehow changed the CPu settings or something that could have slowed down my system.

Intel HD Graphics 4000
i5-3230 @2.6GHz
W8 64 bits
500 GB HD

The make/model would help. Do you have latest HD 4000 drivers installed? Sometimes the drivers on the OEM site are best. Other than that, check your power advanced power options especially the CPU max/min.

What country? Couldn't find it on US site. Go to the support page for your country and make sure you try the drivers they provide. Sometimes Windows updates drivers automatically and makes things worse, especially laptops.
