Title pretty much sums it up, I have a AMD 5650 that shows a black bar that is 1 inch on the left and right and about .5 inches on the bottom on HDMI ive used the drivers that Microsoft provided and also beta drivers from AMD from Febuary 2014, nothing seems to work. Ive taken a picture sorry if the qaulity is bad ive underlined where the back bars are in red so people make more sence of it thanks.

You probably have to mach GPU and TV's frequencies.

Ok I found a fix for this it's affecting scalling in AMD Graphics cards im not sure if it affect's Nvidia cards aswell once TV or external display is connected open CCC and under My Digital Flat Panels click on scaling options, then you will see an underscan overscan slide bar move the slider closer to over scan I have mine set at 3% overscan so my TV doesnt show black bars. :) Scaling Windows 8.1.jpg
