I have attached 2 monitors to my PC using a VGA splitter. They are both showing exactly the same display. I have changed the settings in Control Panel to Extend the Display and gone into Devices in Windows 8 to do the same but they are both still showing exactly the same display.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hello Susi, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Each monitor will need to have it's own separate connection to the graphics card/chip instead of using a splitter to be able to do so.

A splitter will basically only have the same output split onto both monitors. :(
