Solved this app cannot run on your PC

i just turned on my asus x550l and i get a notification that i have to upgrade my nvidia geforce driver. I downloaded it and tried running it. i get the message 'this app cannot run on your PC.' i tried running it as administrator but i get the same thing. im sure the i got the right version. any solutions?

This can happen when you trying to install a 64 bit driver on a 32bit(x86) OS or vica versa a 32bit driver on a 64 bit OS.

Check again if you have the right driver 32 or 64 bit for your system.

im using 64bit and i downloaded the 64 bit.

Another possibility is that the Installation files (driver) for the program you are trying to install got corrupted.

Try downloading them again and install with these newly downloaded files.
