    can i upgrade my graphic cards


    hello: i have gt 740m 2gb and i'm wondering depending on my laptop if it is possible for me to upgrade to a gtx or add more graphic cards

    Unless someone else knows otherwise, I doubt that either can be done. Here are the possible graphics configurations for your specific model, as identified in your hardware maintenance manual:

    Most new laptops have the graphics chip soldered directly to the motherboard. Takes highly specialized equipment to remove and replace it.

    Yep, laptops usually cannot be "upgraded" beyond adding RAM, swapping in an SSD to replace the hard drive. I have not seen a laptop that allows the GPU to be upgraded...
