Yeah, it caused a BSOD at least once. 0x117 video tdr timeout.

First and foremost, make sure there is no overclocking of bus speed, or cpu.

Update video driver to latest (not the beta - it's sucky): Desktop

Update your LAN and HD Audio drivers from Realtek's website:

    Rt64win7 Rt64win7.sys Thu Apr 21 14:15:33 2011 (4DB07445) <<< RTL8168 PCI-e 10/100/1000
    RTKVHD64 RTKVHD64.sys Tue Oct 18 07:48:20 2011 (4E9D6784) <<< HD Audio

Update motherboard bios to newest. While you're there at your motherboard website, install latest chipset drivers for good measure, too.

    Enjoy.

(If you'd like, we can also check on timings of the RAM to ensure well. To do so, attach a screenshot of CPU-Z 1st tab, one of Memory tab and one each for each stick of RAM of the SPD tab.)

Check! The video driver was already the latest AMD driver. And the newest chipset driver was also installed before.

BIOS has been updated succesfully, but when I restarted I got this error in the BIOS:
    ROM image update denied
    efi aborted
    rom image is not loaded

When I check the current BIOS version in Windows, it says it's up-to-date.

Thanks! Please download this ZIP file for the timings of the RAM: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eyx5uisx3r...UZ-Results.zip

Video driver was a few months old, and not latest. (At time of crash on the 8th of this month, anyway.)

    atikmdag atikmdag.sys Tue Oct 08 09:51:03 2013 (52540DC7)
    atikmpag atikmpag.sys Tue Oct 08 08:27:46 2013 (5253FA42)

    Memory is set well.

You might have to disable SecureBoot to update bios well. I dunno.

I would also uninstall AMD Fuel:

    AODDriver2 AODDriver2.sys Wed Nov 21 02:44:04 2012 (50AC8644)

(I don't have that on my system at all, and driver is older...)

Best to completely uninstall all AMD video stuff with Driver Fusion if you can't seem to get rid of it, then install latest driver again.

    I use ASUS GPU Tweak.

Okay thanks! No that's correct, I installed the update after the crash. Okay thanks, I will do that tomorrow. Thanks for helping me! ;-)

Thanks! I reinstalled the Catalyst driver also. Is that AMD FUEL a service or something?

This all should fix the problem?

After still getting freezes over the last week, I reinstalled Windows 8.1 on Thursday night and it's been running fine until just a few minutes ago when it froze again.

All the drivers are up to date, virtual box or virtual clone drive have never been installed, I didn't install any unnecessary drivers, there's nothing in the Event Viewer or in Minidump... I don't know what the problem could be. I just created a new SF diagnostic...

    Anyone have any clue?

    Thanks!

This software sets off my internal alarm as a gut feeling thing (only):

CrashPlan Tray c:\progra~1\crashp~1\crashp~3.exe Public Common Startup

Make sure Teamviewer is latest or also good to uninstall while testing.

    Hi guys,

The problem still exists. After X hours of playing iRacing, the PC totally freezes. Do you know if it's useful to RMA this card, or is this not card specific? Here you can find another report:
