Windows 8.1 not remembering resolution and additional scns

    Hi Everyone,

I have a strange problem with windows 8.1

I have 5 screens, 3 screens connected to a display card, and 2 on motherboard.

When i was with windows 7, no problem at all for the past 2 years. Once upgraded to Windows 8.1, windows DOES recognise all 5 screens, however, it will revert back to a single screen and 800 x 600 resolution.

I will have to enable and reposition all screens again until the next restart. Any idea?

I have a micro-usb cable for charging my mouse that the cats chewed through. It was doing the device connect/disconnect sound over and over with an annoying popup. Oddly enough, the cable still works but now it shows as an "Unknown Device" in the Device Manager under "Other devices". The way...
As you know, you can purchase additional Windows 8 Pro Upgrade keys (up to five--and today is the last day for the cheaper price) via the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant... you just burn an ISO rather than continuing with the install. But if you're not upgrading to Win8 on the computer that you used...
