    Graphics Confusion

I bought a laptop and it supposedly came with a Radeon HD 8550g grahpics card however when i look for what i have via the laptop it always says "intel r HD 4000"
Now i've had trouble with the windows 8 apps as they are all blotchy, some of the screen disappears and i have to drag my mouse over to view it. I realise i need to update my drivers but I cant find the specific drivers for my graphics cards. Does anyone know where my drivers would be or byway to establish what graphics card I actually have?

    Hello hurricae,

I tried to look up your specs and there is some confusion; in that, there appears to be two different versions (one AMD based and one Intel based); however, I could only find info on the AMD based version:

Manuals for HP ENVY m6-1310sa Notebook PC | HP® Support

However, when I explored your maintenance manual, that's when I found there were two distinct versions:

In summary, I really think it would be best to contact HP support to clear up your confusion and provide you with the proper location to download your drivers based on your hardware configuration. Good luck.
