Hi, I hope that somebody will be able to help me.

I downloaded Minecraft but couldn't start it. So I searched for a solution online.

I found a video where it said that I should download an older driver version (for like W7) and I did, but when I tried to install it it said that the program did not meet the minimum requirements.

So I went up to my Device Manager and under the "Display Adapters" I found:

Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)

And the video said that the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter might work to start Minecraft, but it didn't.

When I tried to go back to the Intel's Driver, it said that Windows stopped the program and now I'm stuck with Basic Adapter, which sucks!

Can anybody please help?

Try uninstalling the drivers as they are now, deleting the driver software. reboot and it should say it cannot find a suitable driver. Then download the drivers from Intel directly and see if they will install.

Make sure there are no Intel Applications on the start screen or in Program and Features before you install the new drivers.

Worth a shot!

So, basically, I just had to reboot my laptop. I don't know what happened, but my guess is that the system automatically downloaded the driver, and everything is fine now :D
But, hey, thanks a lot, man :)
