why is it when I use the 320 WHQL driver or the 326 BETA driver my computer freezes randomly but when I use the 314 WHQL driver it works fine.

I have the GeForce GTX 460 GPU.

just wondering why?

It seems that the 320 driver caused instability issues to other people as well as I've seen on the internet and beta drivers are "as is" so BSOD's or freezes may happen. As for the 314 WHQL driver, it looks like that was nvidia's most stabile driver between 310-320 for some people. Go ahead and try the latest 327.23 driver that was released today (9/19) and see how it goes for you :). Hope I helped answer your question.

Here is the link for the 327.23 driver: NVIDIA DRIVERS 327.23WHQL

If it is indeed a driver issue then it may not be fixed until they release a proper driver in your case.
