Ordered the GTX780 on release day

NewEgg is sending me the EVGA superclocked GTX780 in the next couple of days ($662 total with shipping). There cannot be many folks to be able to buy the card as it went out of stock just after I got in my order! It is replacing a EVGA superclocked GTX680 which will go to another deserving computer with my relatives.
I have been waiting FOREVER for big Kepler to be for sale but the $1K Titan was just too much. This is JUST right.
I will let you know if there is any glitches with Win8 but I doubt it....
Is this a bragging post? Yes, yes it is.

Nvidia Releases 320.18 WHQL Drivers with Support for GTX 780 | Maximum PC

NVidia released the driver the same day as the card...

Speaking of toys, I was wandering through the toy section of Target yesterday. There are some great toys out there! Legos has the Hobbit House, MEGA World of Warcraft goblin dirigible and Halo vehicles, and there was a neat clear plastic Lego like LED lit building toy set. Mind you, I am 60 years old! Geez, looking around my desk I have a 1:18 scale Sherman tank, a 1:18th scale Japanese Zero and P-38 Lightning, a reproduction of the US Airborne Normandy cricket (and their British police whistle), a 30mW green laser, and an engineer's slide rule. Besides my computer...

NVidia released the driver the same day as the card - this seems to be logical, there is no need to rush drivers release, when there is no hardware, and releasing it after would be fail too, so that like the only good choice.

No triple titan ? well, that is shame

My question; how the heck to you keep them cool enough being stacked so close together....the psu would be the least of my worries.

Well, thats nvidia's problem to keep it cool Everything must work perfectly with standard cooling systems as it is, no matter which gpu is or how much, if not, then its nvidias problem, for not being able to manufacture not broken vgas, or motherboard manufacturers problem, for not being able to give enough space for one vga, if it can hold more than one. Maybe i will sound silly, but i would sent broken card or mb back to manufacturer with "nice" message, if their product would have problems with cooling and it wouldnt be just one bad card, not the whole product series, and never buy their products again.

Good question! The titan and the GTX780 are both rated at 250W when fully engaged. That would be a 1000W! I don't think you can get a bigger power supply than 1,500W and you better have a 20 amp breaker on that line!
That said, the air flow is good on the Titan and it's ilk. All the heat is thrown out the back. There is enough room to pull air between the cards so as long as you don't try to massively o/c them (and why would you bother with FOUR of them? heh), they should work OK. There are water cooling kits for the cards now.

The question I'd ask is: what programs/games can use all that power for instance?
