Lol! " Big mothers of monitors"! I guess that answers a question sufficiently.

In portrait no less. Very nice and very nice wallpapers.

Monitors, LOTS of monitors, big mothers of monitors. Imagine have three (or even six) 2560x1600 monitors

    Ha ha, I see.

The cluster of 3 or 4 cards should compensate for the fps but fps will drop quite rapidly if size is increased too high. 2560x1600 three or six times is a lot... but I like the big setup.

I cannot stand the gaps between the screens. My games have to stay on one monitor. On the flip side, it saves me lots of money on video cards.

LOL! I stand corrected. I was on my phone when I first viewed the three screens. I thought they were wallpapers, but now I see it's a game as Parks pointed out.

    Still very nice, though.

Sorry guys, NOT my monitors! Just some random image off of Google images for multi-monitors to show why a big ass multi-graphics card setup could be useful. I could set up a 3 24" Dell U2411 monitor setup but I find a 27" single monitor fine for my wants and needs.
I too find the monitors edges to be obtrusive.

An interesting observation. I have progressive glasses (a continuously variable "bifocal" type setup). I COULD go to a 30" monitor but my glasses would make reading the bottom of larger 16:10 ratio screen harder to see. The 16:9 ratio for my Dell U2711 is just right.

Makes me a little jealous I don't have the extra cash to do things like that. But, in all honesty 99% of modern games run just fine on a single 650ti(on max for the most part), even my old HD5850 could play anything I tried(on high for most games) up until Battlefield 3 came out.

Frankly, I had no issues with my GTX680 and a 27 inch monitor. MY son really needs an upgrade tho on his computer so I am bumping my graphics cards down the line to other machines which gives me a good reason to upgrade. Just keep your monitor size down and the graphics cards work fine for games.

As I said in another site, I drive a 10 year old minivan but have a nice computer system. Depends on what you want to spend your money on...

Yea, if you are trying to play on a 30+ inc with 2560x1600 for example, it will take more GPU power to play most modern games on max settings. Resolution is on of the biggest factors in FPS.

Like I said, I would do the same if I had the money to do so atm. I'm having to save up to get a new HDD, and finally get an SSD lol.
