Thanks, I already have that driver, and it didn't correct with a re-install.

and also download latest copy of NVIDIA driver from their site.

Run Driver Fusion to remove all NVIDIA Display entries. Safe mode is best, but not necessary.

Reboot then run NVIDIA driver installer.

That picture you show almost always means bad capacitors on the video card, but since you've said you tried a new one, hopefully the steps I outlined will fix it.
I'll run this tonight and let you know the results. Thank you.

    Windows 8 & Windows 7 Dual Boot

Connect an external monitor to it, if those artifacts are not on the external monitor then your screen is cracked.

If the artifacts are on the external monitor as well, then it will be a bad driver or a bad card..

Does it look like this when you first boot, or after a while of running?

EDIT>> My apologies, i switched to the wrong window for someone with a similar problem on a laptop,,

Remove the graphics card, clean the contacts with a rag dipped in alcohol, let dry, then reinsert card and lock it onto place.

Theres a lock on the back end of the PCIE slot, make sure its in there tight..

If the lines are still there, jiggle the video cable and see if that makes more or less lines on your screen..

And if you do have another monitor or tv you can plug it into, check that as well..

I had no luck with Driver Fusion. After that, I reinstalled XP, and do not have the same problem. Just upgrade to 8 pro again and back to the same issues.

It looks like that after Windows loads. I've upgraded drivers and tried a brand new card and still have the same results.
    Any other ideas?
