Hey people i am thinking of buying the Lenovo Z585 AMD A10 Processor, 8Gb RAM, 1Tb Hard Drive, 15.6 inch Laptop with 2Gb Dedicated Graphics. I'm not the smartest with computers and before purchase i just wanted to find out whether this laptop would be suitable for gaming? Like...would i be able to run WoW or perhaps call of duty on this laptop please let me know thanks! And also i just wanted to know whether 2GB Dedicated Graphics is any good? or what it is equivalent too?

I considered this model but wound up getting the Alienware m14x instead as some if the games needed a little more cooling than the Lenovo offered.

Might I suggest going over to the lenovo forum and see what kind of service people are getting from the company. It is not pretty in a nutshell. They have not put out windows 8 drivers for the units they pushed people to buy 8 for, their phone service is poor at best and normally tell you they will call you back but they never do.

I have a Lenovo Z560 laptop, that I primarily use for on-site recording (I have a recording studio). I also used it on a vacation trip without problems. I haven't had any problems with it, so I can't say about Lenovo support. It came with Windows 7 64 bit and if I wanted to upgrade it to Win 8 I haven't checked for Win 8 drivers, but all the Win 7 drivers are compatible.

I looked at a lot of Laptops, with Intel i5 CPU's, and at the time the Lenovo was the best buy.
