Hi everybody!

I recently bought a new, 600w power supply and Nvidia GeForce 560 ti. We couldn't install it ourselves as my case was too small and fiddly, so we took it down to a computer shop who did it for us. Now suddenly my monitor starts flashing and cloning frames in animations. Here's a video:

Thanks everyone.

Edit: I also cannot play games, such as BF3. I have all drivers installed and up-to-date. I am using DVI as my cable. (My VGA connector is not working; VGA to DVI adapter was also used but the same effect happened).

Edit 2: I can play games, just not BF3

I have just at this moment finished fixing the same issue on my Windows 8

I didnt have this problem when I installed windows it appeared after i did a windows update.

My fix was to download the current NVIDIA drivers, in my case it was 314.22-notebook-win8/7 -64bit international whql

and boom its cured..

I noticed the weirdness when leaving the windows apps and returning to the desktop, i had to use the mouse to hover an repaint the desktop for everything to reappear as i hovered over that section..

Hope this helps you

How much did you OC your video card?

Can you bring it back down to stock speed and see if your problems go away?

Reboot after resetting

If the card is brand new, and its always behaved this way it may be bad, exchange it if you can, but first throttle it down to stock speed.

If all fails

Download your motherboards chipset drivers this is the foundation for all your system drivers. (download, dont use the CD)

My card is overclocked by 830 mHz. It's a factory overclock, so I shouldn't worry about that too much. It's preowned, but we bought it off an actual shop on Amazon. What will my motherboard chipset drivers do?

restart your computer and start hitting (F8) twice per second until you get a non graphical boot menu.

One option will be SAFEMODE WITH NETWORKING

with your cursor select that one and hit (enter)

you will see alot of drivers listed, ignore them and wait for windows to boot, then follow my previous instructions.

If you miss it and windows starts normally, wait for it to finish and reboot and try again, hit (F8) more often

EDIT>> If its too difficult to try and hit (F8) which i discovered may be the case in newer systems then copy these 2 files onto your desktop

One is the SAFEMODE BOOT and the other is the NORMAL BOOT

When you need to start the computer in SAFEMODE, right click the SAFEMODE BOOT file and run as administrator

When youre ready to restart the computer in normal mode then right click NORMAL MODE file and run as administrator

the system will reboot automatically in both cases..
