    Windows 8 Bootscreen Stretched.

My monitor is 2560x1440 resolution and windows 8 boot screen is stretched. the loading circle doesn't appear as circle, more like ellipse. How to fix this?

    Thank you.

It's all about how your system presents video before your graphics drivers are loaded. There's not much you can do about this.

Yeah, i have that thing too, i think its not about resolution, but about video card and video drivers, i.e. i have old geforce 7600gt vga ( + monitor with 1280x1024 resolution), which supports maximum wddm 1.0, and i think, that for normal boot screen you need vga, that supports at least wddm 1.1 (windows 7 driver model), because on my notebook with intel hd graphics, which suports wddm 1.1, everything is ok. By the way, windows 8 introduced wddm 1.2, so with vga, that supports wddm 1.2, everything should be really ok.

I sent my Asus laptop in for support, and they sent it back to me and the Asus Boot Logo is not there anymore, it is the normal Blue 8 Logo. How do I restore this?
I am getting a wrong ("compacted") resolution for a 1280x1024 monitor when booting. Anyway to repair that? Thanks.
