    nVidia windows update [optioanal]

Hello and please see the attachment to explain why I write to you. The download is quite large and I don't have the foggiest idea what it is.
It is a Windows optional download. All is running well now.
    Thank you for any suggestions.

The nVidia Driver update is for the Graphics card inside your Computer. It generally contains bug fixes, speed improvements and new features for your computer. nVidia has generally come in packages varying from 100MBs (long time ago) to about 300MBs

If you would like to read more about graphics cards, please refer to wikipedia (I'm sure it has more to offer than I do.)

I have chosen to hide the update until I find out more as all is working well.
I noticed that device manager reports no drivers in printers and faxes yet when I right click to properties it reports the most updated driver are installed.
Any idea about the seeming contradiction?

a long as your printer works, the fact that it shows up in device manager means the printer is installed , i would not concern myself with the different report
