Hello, I'm not sure that this is the right forum for this question so please bare with me.
I built a PC not long ago and I wanted to connect my Toshiba Regza TV to it as a display.
I used a DVI to HDMI cable to connect the PC to the TV. The problem is that that the display shows the OS in a small 700x900 px square, as the following image demonstrates: pic1.jpg . Also, when I try to change the resolution, the options are all greyed.
When I use a HDMI to HDMI for the connection, the OS is shown bigger then the display, as you can see here:

I want to mark that I'm using Intel Core i5 (which has Intel Graphics HD). I have no other display card.
What is causing this problem and how can I solve it? Thanks.
