Windows Experience Index not Using Dedicated Graphics Card

When ever i run WEI, it measures desktop graphics performance using Intel HD4000 built in GFx. I want windows to use the Dedicated ATI Readon 7730M when it runs WEI.

I have tried changing the Power Saving Mode to High Performance but its still not switching. Is there a way to Force on the Dedicated Card all the time and disable the HD4000 temporarily so the score is increased when i re run the WEI assessment ?

I believe you have to disable the onboard video in the BIOS, forcing the system to use the add-on video card. This is what I have always done and it works for me...

In your case, you can't disable your Intel HD as your primary display is only connected to it. You just have to wait for newer drivers for your AMD Radeon so that it activates when running the WEI test.

is there a way around it? some sort of registry setting to force AMD Readon ON all the time?

    Windows 8.1 'Ultimate' RTM 64 bit (Pro/WMC).

I see that you appear to have a laptop with dual graphics. If this is the case, Windows will not use the ATI for the WEI test, only the Intel. I have a dual Intel/GeForce setup and the same thing occurs. It's not an issue, really. If you click on 'View and print detailed information...', it actually explains this near the bottom of the page.

Yes i can see it, but there should be some way to classify the ATI Readon as Primary Graphics Card?

Both the links dosnt provide a solution, now that i went through them i am even more worried whether my Readon Card even works or not? There seems to be no way to check or benchmark the dedicated card
