Catalyst Control Center is the OLD version. The new drivers don't call it that.

So, if you installed an OLD version of the drivers, one that was not made for Win 8, it's likely that CCC won't run.

Need to tell us the make and model of your video card/chipset.

Sorry Mark, but you're wrong on that. Catalyst Control Center still exists.

Well ... that's certainly surprising ... because mine shows AMD VISION Engine Control Center, not Catalyst Control Center -- and has ever since the early 12.x versions.

It depends on your hardware. This explains it:

The name of the application and certain options within it vary depending on the AMD product you are using:
    • AMD VISION Engine Control Center—Available for AMD computing platforms installed with AMD Fusion APUs or AMD CPUs and AMD Radeon™ graphics processors (GPUs).
    • Catalyst™ Control Center—Available for systems installed with AMD consumer graphics cards, such as AMD Radeon graphics cards.
    • Catalyst™ Pro Control Center—Available for systems installed with AMD professional graphics cards, such as AMD FirePro™ graphics cards.

Hi HBHB, a clean installation of W8P works fine on 3 screens in oparation, no problem!
None of this release 12-8/10/12_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc does not work, makes all screen black. Even when the MB graphics is the only in operation. I'm going to wait at least 6 month befor I try to install AMD Drivers on W8P.... Merry Christmas etc!
