I have a 1080p laptop w/ Windows 8.1. When I first started the OS I had to go through a bunch of programs, locate each .exe file, and right click>properties> Disable high DPI scaling to get the programs not to look horribly blurry. I use it with a monitor a lot and don't have any issues with blurry windows, but when I take it off the HDMI and use it regularly, random windows will be blurry. For example, when I was using it without the monitor, I right clicked my OS drive to perform disk cleanup. The properties window where the Disk Cleanup button is was clear, but the actual tiny Disk Cleanup window was blurry... I also have issues with the notepad windows being blurry.
To be clear, the onboard screen is 1080p and the monitor is 1080p. I am only have issues with the onboard screen.
