Display Fusion 3.4 (beta 17) - replaces the multi-monitor taskbar built into Win8, DF's it's much, much better! :) UPDATE: Interesting thing is, both are available. You just have to slide your mouse off the DF taskbar and the Win8 multi-monitor taskbar appears below it - COOL! :D

Ohh, ohh, another update. When you place the new "Start" screen on a secondary monitor you still get the DF task bar! Awesome, I'm tellin' ya.

Some interesting items in the taskbar up there.

@vrosa: thanks for the heads-up about AutoCAD. I'll be trying 2012 sometime tomorrow for the fun of it (I, currently, just boot into Win7 when I have work to do).

One thing that is missing from WDP is the ability to play DVDs. It might be that this is one of the features that is currently disabled. To overcome this, I tried the latest trial versions of the 2 most popular DVD playback packages, WinDVD and PowerDVD.

WinDVD Corel WinDVD 2010 - Installs, but won't run.

PowerDVD CyberLink PowerDVD 2011

Thanks, Dwarf. :)
I hadn't tried that yet so I was unaware that one couldn't play DVDs out of the box with the DP.

The Windows Defender installed by default with Win 8 is actually MSE renamed. You do not need to install MSE anymore
Defender and MSE use the same process (MsMpEng.exe). When you install MSE (which you still have to do yourself), Defender is being replaced by MSE.

I saved the download to my desktop. Then opened it with run as administrator. Once installed, I restarted my computer. Make sure you have the right version. I also had to disable user control for this to work.

But Defender covers pretty much everything MSE covers in terms of malware.
