all power options are gone!

Hmn, if that was the case, you should have been able to "Create a New Power Profile"...
Well, so you got it back? That's great! And sorry we hijacked your thread for a while hehehe,
considering the situation, any suggestion for closing the lid, power button and screen brightness settings? their data can not be retrieved

Once you create a new power profile, you can set all of those things in Advanced Power Settings.

You can get to that from the Power Page, click on your Profile, there should be a "Show Advanced Power Options" at the bottom the the page for the power scheme. That's where you set all that stuff, and it would be there by default.

After researching PowerMax for the last week, I am positive that your woes originated by using that POS program. Get rid of it and never use it again.

What a mess - Don't wipe your drive needlessly, try to run an In-Place install, it should fix this problem. Return to 7 only if an In-Place Install doesn't fix it.

Let me know if you don't know how to do an In-Place Install and I'll explain how to do it

What you probably need is working ACPI drivers, they handle power saving options with BIOS.
