Image Thumbnails no longer visible ?

Does this apply to all images in any folder or are all your JPGs in a single folder? If they are all in one folder (with perhaps cold folders within it) right click the parent folder, select properties, customise, and select the appropriate type from the list( can't remember if it says photos or images), this sets the default behaviour for all the files in at folder. It may help.

LOL, I'm sure you do, but does it show thumbnails in a new standard account? :p

No thumbnails show under a new 'standard' account, makes me wonder if there is a bug or flaw somewhere in Win8 ?

The images are not in one folder, the folder is mixed with files and images.

Change the view setting to large icons, medium icons or tiles? Small icons show the mountains picture, others show a thumbnail.

I think we pretty much tried everything else to avoid that, and none worked. :(

I may have to install a new HDD, I'm going to refresh during of after a new HDD install. I'll update, when I fix (background music can be played for this thread) :)

I have installed a new SSD with more space (120 to be exact) the good news is now images are showing a icon, and when I created another standard account, thumbnails are visible. The bad news is there are still no thumbnails. I'm going to try to find another solution to this without doing a 'refresh' it seems as though something just has to be changed that got switched around.
