People App crashing?

Every time that I open the People app this morning, it keeps on crashing. It just shows the logo along with it saying 'App Preview'. Then it just shows up the start screen again.

I saw the left taskbar to see if it's still running, and it is. I click it again and again it takes me to the start screen.

Solution? Anyone else having this issue this morning? It was fine yesterday.

... it was happening to me too.

I thought perhaps uninstalling and re-installing the app might help. I've uninstalled the app, but can't find it in the store to re-install it. It's not in the 'Social' groups of apps as one might expect.

Anyone know how to search for an app throughout the store by app name?

it's called 'Mail, Calendar, Poeple & Messaging'

try search (windowsKey+w), make sure you highlighted 'store' ........

I had the same problem on Surface RT. Did a Shut Down and power up and the problem went away. Restart did not fix the problem.
