Hey guys, I got Windows 8 a couple weeks ago and I have loved it up to this point. A few days ago i tried shutting my computer down and whenever I did so the sidebar (where i shut it down from) would just slide back and the computer wouldn't shut down. I've tried multiple methods like Alt+F4 on the desktop and shutdown -s -t 00, and also when I try shutting it down from the login screen it'll freeze on my login screen background and only my mouse would be showing. I have noticed another thing though. Whenever I try to shut down, these two processes start eating up the usage on my CPU
Windows Start Up Application and Windows Log On Application. If someone could please give me a solution it would be very much appreciated. I hate shutting my computer down by holding the power button. Thank you in advance!
