Hi guys, I've been running Windows 8 now for the last few months, got rid of the preview version and installed the RTM version a few days ago.
Everything has been running smoothly without any problems, though I have a couple of niggling issues.
1. Whenever I try to use the app for The Register, I get an error message telling me to check my connection. Consequently, it appears not all news articles in the app are therefore updated. Some searching around on Google has suggested a re-install from the Windows Store. I've done this twice now, and the problem is still persisting. Is this a known little problem with the app?
2. Concerning the Windows Store itself. Its telling me that there are 3 updates that are ready to be installed, yet when I click to go and install them, the next screen says "No updates available". I cannot seem to get rid of this, and its more an annoyance than anything I suppose.
Other than that, I'm enjoying the Windows 8 experience as it were. Can anyone shed any light on these few points?
Cheers,
Sisko
