I think that with Windows 8 created for PCs (desktops/notebooks), Tablets and Phones, Microsoft would achieve the required boost to achieve their goal to enter the mobile devices sector successfully, the next Windows from Microsoft should have separate versions for PCs (desktops, notebooks), Tablets and Phones. This would be much better for the users of each devices and it would also be good for MS as many alienated companies like Valve/Steam would return to Windows and won't try to create alternatives to Windows. What you think?

System One

  • OS
    Windows 7
Considering they were already doing that and are moving to one kernal and experience across all their platforms, I'd say highly unlikely to happen.

My Computer

  • OS
    Windows 7, Windows 8 RP
Won't happen. Valve and Steam are crying over unsplit milk, and the question will become of what's a PC?
