    will a dream spark version of windows 7 work with 8 upgrade.

    Windows Server 2012 Standard w/Hyper-V


    It should, since the Dreamspark downloads are regular copies of Microsoft software. However, I personally think a clean install is better than an upgrade.

    I have an account with Dreamspark, and am using the RTM build of Windows 8 right now. If it's avaialble for download from your Dreamspark account, it's free.

Hello all, I've been on vacation so I've missed a lot of 8.1 news (I guess). Anyway, as a non-apps person, I don't see any immediate benefit to arbitrarily rush into this upgrade for the following reasons: 1. I've already got the boot directly to desktop and start button covered via Start8....
Is it at all possible to slipstream Win7 to Win8 and Win8.1? I have a Win7 Ultimate, upgrade to Win8 Pro, then I'll upgrade to Win8.1 through Windows Store. Can this be slipstreamed to make reformatting easier?
Hello Everyone, I have recently upgraded to Window 8 and now I ahve both Window 7 & 8 installed in my system. I can keep both however due to limited hard disk space I want completely remove Window 7. Please advice on best ways. . . Thanks
