Finally, an app worth having. That should tell you something about the apps available in this store right there.
There are several apps worth having like USA Today or Newegg, but that one just really makes me happy. It's perfect if I'm having a hard drive issue, Windows To Go drive issues, network connectivity issues, first world problems, and telling people no.

Just curious you guys. You are AWARE if you move your mouse pointer to the very top of the screen it will change into a hand, then you press your left mouse button, and all the applications that are running will be seen when the Start screen will be only a quarter of the screen size.

    Mike,

I'm not following you at all. What are you trying to ask?

Mike--When I do that, nothing happens. Are you seeing something that we are not seeing?

pparks, and Frank this has to be done in the standard old fashion Windows interface, just move your mouse to the center top of your screen and it will turn into a hand, hold down your left mouse button and pull it down the screen will resize to a 1/4 of the actual size and you will/can see what open programs are there. (If any)

A lot of Metro fans tout this as a spectacular new feature, exclusive to W8.

BTW, I'm not saying that Everlong did this.

It's just like, "The Metro Screen is customisable. You can't customise the old Start Menu" furphy that is regularly trotted out.

This IS real, and as an average user, you get it if you only install by always clicking the "next" button and the "I accept" checkbox .
    That is true.

There are installers that replace those buttons with "Accept" and "Decline", just to trick you into installing crapware (if you aren't paying attention).
