The new Start Screen patterns are crazy...

Not going to say how I got this going, but I'm able to change the Start Screen patterns now, WOW. :shock: Some look like an acid trip. There are some interesting ones, but WOW.

Speaking of such, in the leaked RTM builds, the tile colors for Desktop items looks nicer to me than before, I do not know why.

For some odd reason, I think this one will be a hit in Russia.

I don't know, it's weird, but a good weird...

And I should note, the tiles in fact DO look better in the RTM build than the Release Preview. It's the text size and color that makes the biggest difference as it's just white versus a tinted color. Also, There seems to be more of a contrast or the vibrance in the tile colors than the RP, and the background color is a tad darker. Also, some of the patterns change color with the Start Screen color, when it's red, some patterns have stronger red tones to it.

There's an old saying; You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

Some of the patterns there are psychedelic to my liking but I'd prefer a blue background along with those trippy retro patterns because its more pleasing to the eye even though red is my favorite color. I like the Coca Cola sort of red. Maybe they should allow downloads of new Start Screen patterns from the Appstore just like Windows 7 has downloadable themes from the Microsoft website.
