hope this is in the right place, excuse my apologies.
i have a HP Altec windows 8 64bit laptop and had this on my screen saying i need to upgrade to 8.1 or 10 as windows not doing no more updates on windows 8. i have a disc for windows 8.1 but don't know how to boot from CD. i watched a video which was promising but he was hold his iphone recording what he was telling us how to do it,but the video was all over the place... any computer experts who can give me the best tips for this job.... since this was stopped by windows im getting notifactions from my bullguard internet sucurity 2017 telling me im getting acttacked and ive never been hacked before and i'm so carefull with my anti virus and my firewall.
please ask any questions about this if you can, i'm on here coz i need your professional help.
