Hello guys :)

I have a NP530u3c wich have a HDD of 500gb with 24gb of a iSSD.

I formated the 24gb iSSD and converted it to MBR, installed the Windows on it... Its is working ok (i dealed with space issues), but there is a problem. Even after that the iSSD dont show on the Boot order of Bios...

If i remove the USB Stick with the Windows Installer, the OS dont boot. If i plug the USB Stick it boots after the screen to click any button for start the windows installer.

I Read somewhere that i need a Hidden Boot Partition on the HDD of 500gb linking to the iSSD, but i dont know how to do that. I am tring it with Wingrub, but no success...

Thx for the help

It sounds like Windows placed the boot files on the USB stick. Macrium Reflect Free has a feature to "Fix Windows Boot Problems". Download the free version of Macrium Reflect and install it on your computer. Make the recovery media. You can make it on a USB stick (NOT the one your boot files are on) or a DVD. Boot from the newly created recovery USB or DVD and follow this guide.

The guide I found is for version 5 and now the free version is up to 6. I don't think it will make much of a difference.

v5: How to fix Windows boot problems (Restore, Windows PE)

You can download Macrium Reflect Free from here.
