The title is maybe confusing, but I tried to fit it into the character limit and I don't know how.

I have Windows 8.1 To Go on my external hard disk which was used on the computer that has Windows 8 on internal hard disk. While the computer had a power supply failure and was on service, I used WTG on a different computer with Windows 10 on its internal hard disk.
When I booted WTG on the new computer for the first time, it said "Scanning and repairing drive D:" (one partition of internal hard disk). (On booting Windows 10, it scanned and repaired itself.) After this, WTG works normally on the computer with Windows 10, but fails to boot on the computer with Windows 8. It doesn't get to the Windows logo, it just shows black screen after the BIOS splash screen with occasionally showing a blinking underscore in upper left part of screen.
A thing that may be the cause of the problem is that Windows 8 uses nVidia graphics card and Windows 10 uses ATI Radeon card. I have drivers for both cards installed on WTG,
Does anyone have a suggestion what should I try to make WTG boot on the computer with Windows 8? I have some ideas, but I wanted to ask if someone heard of or faced with similar problem.
