Win 8.1 Nag Delete

Hoping I describe this correctly.............

Have a near new HP Envy 700-214 that arrived with Win 8----I bought and installed an authentic MS 8.1 upgrade disc mostly to add WMC.

This machine is NEVER online, never will be and isn't even connected to any internet connection. Every so often I get a full screen prompt asking if I want to upgrade and add Win 8.1.

There must be a way to find and eliminate this annoying prompt----is there a KB file that causes this or something else?

I'll do that----never occurred to me that might be the culprit.

I am curious how that still happens having already installed the 8.1 version upgrade.

I'll let the forum know if that does the trick.
